Basically, we ask that you show common courtesy and basic discretion when attending Munches. Most of our munches are held at public venues, but some are held at private homes. Read the announcement for each event to see what type of venue you will be attending.
When attending an event at someone's home:
RSVP if the host/ess requests it
Honor arrival and departure times as announced by the host/ess
Park according to instructions
Be discreet outside, cover fetish-wear, and do not annoy the neighbors
Playing or scening should only occur as part of a planned demo or presentation and never in public areas visible to non-TMG attendees
Ask the host/ess if you wish to show items from your toybag
Help with clean-up and set-up if you are able to do so
Never bring alcoholic beverages to any TMG event unless the announcement specifically allows it. In general, we do NOT allow any alcohol at any event.
When attending an event in a public venue, be sensitive to the fact that many TMG attendees are not "out" about their lifestyle. Discretion is always appreciated!
For example...
Please don't bring or display toys or scene items (including handcuffs, whips, floggers, paddles, etc. )
Lower your voice when describing scenes or parties.
Please do not arrive dressed in obvious fetishwear. (Not sure if your attire is "too fetish"? If a vanilla person would simply comment "Interesting necklace" when describing your collar, that's fine. If it obviously has huge locks and a leash hanging off of it, it's not.)
